Most land use applications require a transparent procedure that enables affected parties to lodge any representation regarding a proposed development. Local Authorities have established Development Tribunals that consider such applications that have attracted negative representation.
As Town Planners, we are required to prepare the necessary reports to represent a respective party with regards to potential rights and/or the refusal of potential rights.
If any party is aggrieved by the Development Tribunal’s decision, we can represent a client by lodging an appeal at a Provincial level (Townships Board).
